Starting off

Ok, so here goes. . . my attempt at a blog. After putting this off for weeks, and promptings by friends both in New York and in London (apparently, blogging is the thing to do if you're in New York City, and I need to do all I can to fit in!), and in particular, thanks to regular prodding by my friend Ficali McPipe, I have decided to sit myself down and write something.

So here I am. . . I'm not much of a diary/journal person, so this writing what's on my mind doesn't come naturally. And, after several failed attempts at wit and humour, I've decided to abandon that route, and just write. So this is just what the heading says. Musings . . . wonderings. . . about the world, life, people. . . everything. . .
