Speaking "Mexican"

I was talking to Nev on the phone today, and he told me a story that made me feel a bit better about the silly situations I get myself into. He was waiting in line for something when a girl came up to him and started talking to him. She asked him where he was from. He told her, and asked her where she was from in response. She informed him that she was Spanish.

"Barcelona? Madrid?" he prompted.

"No," came the cheerful reply. "Honduras."

Both Nev and I obviously have a lot of catching up to do in Honduran geography!

There's more though. She informed Nev that she had thought he was Spanish too! In response, he told her, beaming at the interest she was taking in him. "Yes, I know. I've had people come up to me and start speaking Mexican!"

Her interest in him underwent an immediate transformation for the worse! "I guess I've assimilated too well into the US!" he told me wryly.

When we went through your articles from the second till the sixth, which I presume was to be the last one until today, we can understand how you were able to make friends within a week from the first day in solidarity. On the first day you were feeling very lonely and on the second day or the next, you had undergone a nightmare while trying to navigate yourself from your Campus to the Gym the name I hate because it brought you so much of anxiety and fear. Gradually you were able to come out of the circle that were giving you horrible experiences and were able to make more of friends from many nationalities. We are sure that, in the months ahead you will be able to gain more experiences, adventures and friendships that will enhance your projects. Keep it up. Thurai and Ranji
